The Commons: Arts, Culture, and Human Expression

A range of courses will be offered to both the broader community and students, including fiber arts, basket making, weaving, loom work, woodworking, as well as drawing, painting, and photography. The vision is for these courses and workshops to evolve, like Food & Farm, into a financially self-sustaining enterprise.

The Commons Enterprise seeks to connect a working landscape with the culture, creativity and community of the humanities field. Courses will be non-formal, operate with the seasons, and rely heavily on story-telling, discussion, and shared experience, in order to build community and pass down cultural knowledge.
